AquaSmart recovers water from the moisture in the air. It is developed by JOOD and protected by a patent application.
How it works, in short
Air passes across a surface chilled by a liquid cooling circuit. Moisture in the air condenses on that surface and is collected as water. The design reuses heat within the system to keep energy use down.
Where it fits
We are developing AquaSmart for places where reliable water is hard to get and cooling is already needed, from remote sites to commercial buildings. The same cooling technology also underpins the liquid-cooled HVAC systems we plan to manufacture.
